We will post this to the Guidance webpage later this week.

*Rock Band auditions will continue today and tomorrow in the band room after school. Students should arrive by 3:15 with their instruments. Please direct questions to Mr. Click.

*Students who assisted with this year's Beginning Band, today is your pizza lunch in the band room during your lunch period.

*Mu Alpha Theta is offering tutoring for math in all subjects and for ACT/PSAT test prep (math portion) on Wednesdays from 3-4. Please sign up to be tutored using the sign-up genius on the Mu Alpha Theta webpage.

*Attention all students:

On Friday this week, you will be voting in a mock election for three exciting races here in Tennessee: Governor, US Senate, and US House of Representatives. Please take some time to review the candidates and their positions so you can make an informed decision. See your social studies teacher for details.

Special note: Tuesday night on NewsChannel 5 at 6:00pm, the two US Senate candidates will square off in a highly anticipated debate. This Senate seat is garnering national attention so you won’t want to miss this debate!

*High School Students who are in a Band, Orchestra or Choir class are eligible to audition for the Madrigal Singers A Capella group.  Auditions will take place after school this Friday and the Monday after fall break.  Signups and audition forms are outside the choir room.  See Mr. Brenner if you have any questions.

*Attention All Students:

As usual, we will have the option for students to use reading rooms during Friday's spirit day festivities.  There is a sign up for pep rally, morning activities, and afternoon activities. One is posted upstairs by Mr. Joyce's room for MS and auditorium doors for HS.  There are three middle school reading rooms and three high school reading rooms.  Please make note of which room you should report to when you signup.

The library will not be an option for Friday.  Students should not need to go anywhere while in the reading rooms (except the restroom).  This is not a punishment but an opportunity for students that do not deal with noises or crowds to have a quiet location. Once a student is in the room they are to remain there until the next activity.  Attendance will be taken in each reading room.
