*Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee needs volunteers at our Smyrna facility all week next week to pack Disaster Relief Boxes for victims of Hurricane Michael. We may also be packing some Senior Boxes.

Tuesday, October 30 – 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.
Wednesday, October 31 – 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Thursday, November 1 – 1 to 4 p.m.
Saturday, November 3 – 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.
*This is a reminder to all Middle School students that the Patriot Pen essays are due to Mr. Ruess tomorrow. Patriot Pen is a Veterans of Foreign Wars sponsored essay contest with a grand prize of $5000.00. This year's topic is "why I honor the flag".
*School supplies are being collected to be donated to Port St. Joe Schools. Port St. Joe is a small town on the gulf coast of Florida. When Hurricane Michael hit Port St. Joe it destroyed their town, many residents lost everything.
*College Corner has a full house on Tuesday! Belmont, Motlow, U.S. Air Force, University of Alabama at Birmingham, and the Univeristy of Missouri will all be in attendance! Stop by and see them! It’s our last one of the year!
*There will be a high school men's soccer interest meeting on Monday Nov. 5th at 6pm in the Senior Cafeteria. If you would like to try out make plans to attend.
*Middle school golf tryouts will be held today at Bloomfield Links at 3:30.
*The Middle School Swim Team had a GREAT first meet this past Saturday at the Middle School Sprint Medal Meet at LaVergne High School against 7 other teams.
There were several regional qualifying swims from swimmers including Taylor Walker, Paige Turner, Abby Higgins, Matthew Moore, Cameron Walker, and Jackie Dummermuth.
There were also several top 3 finishes from swimmers including Taylor Walker, Jean Drugmand, Ben Bryant, and Jackie Dummermuth.
Their next meet will be Saturday, November 10th at the Wolverine Winter Invitational! Come out and support your tigers!
