*In honor of Veterans Day, flags will go on sale Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during each lunch for $1.00. Your donation will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.

*“Over the weekend, our theatre students competed in All County where only the top 17 auditions in all of Rutherford county were selected for the performance showcase. We had 6 students audition, some in two categories, and all 6 qualified. Congratulations to Zoe Naylor, Nolan Ragland, Karis Knierim, Raeley Underwood, Sevon Askew and Kenedi Chriski! Break a leg on Thursday”

 

* The information meeting for the National Technical Honor Society will be on Wednesday, November 7th at 7:30am in the auditorium.  Come find out more about NTHS.  Ask your CTE teacher if you have any questions!

 

*Congratulations to the high school cross country teams.  Both varsity squads participated in the TSSAA championships held Percy Warner Park's historic Steeplchase race course.

Your Lady Tigers pounced away with 12th place honors.  The ladies were led by freshman Samantha Ouellete, who finished 8th overall in a time of 19:07. By finishing in the top ten, Samantha earned All-State honors.

The boys stunned large schools across the state, coming in a very strong 3rd place, only 12 points away from state runner-up.  Five Tigers earned personal records on this difficult course.  Your varsity squad was led by junior Fuji Anday, who finished 8th overall in a time of 16:04.  Fuji also earned All-State honors.

Be sure to congratulate your Tiger Striders when you see them in the hall as Saturday was a momentous day for Central Magnet.
