*In honor of Veterans Day, flags will go on sale Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during each lunch for $1.00. Your donation will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.

 

***Any HOSA member that signed up for a competition needs to see Mrs. Gates sometime today!

 

**All HOSA members should see Mrs. Gates for a Butter Braid fundraiser order form...anyone wanting to buy butter braids, just let Mrs. Gates or a HOSA member know!

 

*HOSA’s next blood drive is 11-29, you can go to the CMS homepage to sign up and if you’re 16, see Mrs. Gates for a parent permission form!  Your one donation saves 3 lives!

 

Service Opportunities

** If you are interested in volunteering and earning service hours, The Alzheimers Walk to End Alzheimers is November 10th.  It will take place at the Dean Hayes Soccer and Track Stadium on the MTSU campus and will begin at 8:00am. You may log up to 8 hours of service since the set up will begin at 6:00am.  If you are interested, please contact Michelle Thomas at 615-429-8633 or at [email protected].

 

**On Saturday, November 17th, the Walter Hill Elementary PTO is having a vendor fair from 8am -3pm.  Duties will include setting up, cleaning up, and helping to make sure things are running smoothly.  If you are interested, email them at [email protected] with your name and when you can volunteer.

 

*The high school swim team had a great first meet this past Saturday beating both Siegel and Blackman’s teams.

There were several regional qualifying swimmers including Daniel Wendt, Roman Pate, Ricky Pletan, and Anna Weis.

Anna Weis and Reece Long also qualified for state in at least one of their events.

Their next meet is next Tuesday against LaVergne! Go Tigers!
