Community Service Opportunity This Weekend

**On Saturday, November 17th, the Walter Hill Elementary PTO is having a vendor fair from 8am -3pm.  Duties will include setting up, cleaning up, and helping to make sure things are running smoothly.  If you are interested, email them at [email protected] with your name and when you can volunteer.

 

*Please complete the google form found on the track team website if you would like to be a sprinter or field event participant.  Get this done before Thanksgiving break.  See Coach Nichols if you have any questions.

 

*Students attending the Young at Heart field trip need to meet in Ms. Way-Kiani's room at 10am today.

 

*Kaitlin Polly scored 18 points as the Lady Tigers lost at Hendersonville 41-29. Next up: home opener vs LEAD Academy on Tuesday night.

 

*The Central Magnet Tigers suffered their first loss of the season last night when they fell to the Hendersonville Commandos 85-74 despite making 10 3-point shots.

The Tigers were led in scoring by Will Carver with 23, Patrick Norman with 16, Jayden Hernandez with 13 and Steph Laird with 10.

The Tigers will return to action on Tuesday night with the first Home game of the season vs LEAD Academy.

 

*The middle school girls’ basketball team lost a tough game to Stewart’s Creek last night (31-23).  Addison Melton led the team with 9 and Noella Obi added 7

The lady tigers are 3-1

 

*Central Middle School Boys Basketball lost last night to Stewarts Creek in a hard-fought game.  Mason Brown lead central with 9 points and Isaac Smith added 4.
