Community Service Opportunity

**Friday, December 7th, the Walter Hill Elementary PTO will be hosting Parent’s Night Out.  Volunteers will be needed from 5:30pm- 10:00pm.  Duties will include setting up, clean up, and entertaining children in various activities.  Email them at [email protected] with your name and when you can volunteer.

 

*The Preliminary Round of the CMS National Geographic Bee will be held this Thursday during 6th period in room 202. If you took the qualifying quiz, you should have checked Coach Burns' website to see if you are one of the competitors. If your name is on the list, check with your 6th period teachers before Thursday to see what you'll miss. On Thursday, come straight to Coach Burns' room after 5th period so we can finish by 3:00. *Middle school softball conditioning is cancelled for today. We will be working out indoors tomorrow.

 

*The Central Magnet Men's Basketball improved to 2-1 on the season with a 63-58 win over LEAD Academy last Tuesday night.

The Tigers were led by Jayden Hernandez with 18 points, Patrick Norman with 16 points and Will Carver with 10 points.

The Tigers will be at home Tomorrow night vs Cascade High School.

 

*Also last Tuesday, Kaitlin Polly lead the way with 14 and Sydney Copeland added 10 as the Lady Tigers got their 1st win of the year in their home opener!
