*The MTSU Foreign Language Department will be here next Tuesday and Thursday for Junior and Senior students to take a Placement Exam for their respective language in either German, French or Spanish. You will need to sign up on the sheet outside of Ms. Pinson's door, room 208. See your FL teacher if you have any other questions.

 

*Seniors:  Applications for the MTSU Buchanan scholarship are due December 1st.  This is for any student applying to MTSU with at least a 3.5 and 29 ACT.  You must complete the application online and send your transcript to the Honors College before Dec 1.

 

*Students who plan to get their license over the break, the SF1010 form needs to be requested before the holidays. Please come to the front office or attendance office to ask for this form.  Also, anyone who might need a copy of a transcript, please contact the Guidance office before break begins.

*Europe Trip 2020

Attention all CMS students in grades 8,9,10, and 11. There is a trip to Europe planed for the Summer of 2020. Trip highlights include London, Normandy, Paris, Belgium, Germany, and Austria. There will be an interest meeting for students and parents on Monday, December 10th at 6:00 p.m. in the CMS auditorium. See Mr. Kirksey or Mr. Cato for details.

 

*Today, starting at 10:00am, the water will be shut off on the high school end of the building.  They are connecting a water line for the landscape around the new parking lot. 

 

*HS Swimming had a great meet last night against Siegel, LaVergne, Spring Hill, and Mount Juliet with boys and girls beating all four teams.

The following swimmers made region cuts in their events: Morgan Ouellette, Erin Chippeaux, Daniel Wendt, Nick Gobich, Roman Pate, Ricky Pletan, and Zachary Allgood.

The following swimmers made state cuts in their events: Anna Weis and Kailey Orr

Their next meet will be at LaVergne High School next Friday! Go Tigers!

 

* “The high school boys’, JV Basketball team, picked up their first win of the season last night against Holloway HS, 65-55. Gage Swanson led with 15 points, Corey Greeson with 14 points, and Sam Nave and Alec Ingraham both with 11. Together, the team put up 11 3-pointers. They’ll travel with the Varsity tomorrow to play in Calloway Co., Kentucky.”
