*Auditions for the Homecoming Variety Show will be next Tuesday and Thursday (December 11th and 13th) after school until 4:30 pm in Mr. Brenner's classroom.  If you would like to audition, signups are listed on the auditorium doors.  There will be a Middle School and a High School show and students from all grades are welcome to audition.  If you have any questions, ask Mrs. Hines in Room 102.

 

*Any high school student (or middle school student not affiliated with Duke TIP) taking the ACT at Central this Saturday, Dec. 8th, will NOT be admitted without a photo ID. If you do not have a photo ID, see your counselor THIS WEEK for an ID letter. This must be done before Saturday or you will NOT be admitted to the test.

Any middle school student taking the ACT with Duke TIP will need to bring their Talent Search/ACT Student Identification Letter and their Admission Ticket that was sent in the mail. See Guidance with questions.

ALL students must bring his/her own calculators. There will not be any provided.

 

*Students who plan to get their license over the break, the SF1010 form needs to be requested before the holidays.  Please come to the front office or attendance office to ask for this form.  Also, anyone who might need a copy of a transcript, please contact the Guidance office before break begins.

 

*High school students will be receiving the Permission forms to leave after Mid-terms during 1st period.  Please have these signed by your parent and return to your 1st period teacher by Wednesday December 12.  Attendance will not be taking phone calls or emails the week of testing for dismissal.

 

* Auditions for the spring musical comedy “the drowsy chaperone” will be December 17 and 18 after school in the annex. This show will be for high school students only. Please sign up on the interest sheet outside of Mr. Brenner’s room beginning today. Be sure to grab a music packet matching the type of role you wish to audition for.  If you put your name down but did not take a packet please come back and get one.  There are male and female lead roles, minor roles, and separate singing and dancing ensembles. All levels of experience are welcome and encouraged to audition.  See Mr. Brenner or Ms. Lindsey if you have any questions.

 

*Europe Trip 2020

Attention all CMS students in grades 8,9,10, and 11. There is a trip to Europe planned for the Summer of 2020. Trip highlights include London, Normandy, Paris, Belgium, Germany, and Austria. There will be an interest meeting for students and parents on Monday, December 10th at 6:00 p.m. in the CMS auditorium. See Mr. Kirksey or Mr. Cato for details.

*Senior night for basketball has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 5.  This is different than originally scheduled.

 

*The Middle school girls’ basketball team beat Christiana last night 27-18.
