*Submissions for the JFK Profile in Courage Essay Contest are now being accepted. Submit a 1,000-word essay describing an act of political courage by a US elected official who served during or after 1917. Win up to $10,000 in scholarship money and a chance to attend the 2019 Profile in Courage Award Ceremony. The deadline for submission is January 18, 2019. * The library has given notices to your English teacher so you will know the books that you currently have checked out. If you receive a notice, please come by the library by this Friday to return any overdue books, pay fines or simply renew the books that you have. All library books checked out and renewed now will be due after winter break.

ANOTHER SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION DEADLINE IS APPROACHING!
The application deadline for the Scarlett Family Foundation is fast approaching; but there's still time to apply. Scholarship applications must be submitted by 11:59pm on December 15th. Over 300 scholarships have been awarded in the past three years. Students who will or have graduated from any high school or home school program in 40 middle Tennessee counties are eligible to apply. Applicants must enroll full time in the fall of 2019 and demonstrate financial need. See Coach Nichols' financial aid page for more details.
