*"The State of Tennessee recently approved the Seal of Biliteracy. If you are a senior, have completed 2 or more years of a Foreign Language class, and would like to find out how to receive the Seal of Biliteracy, you

can attend the informational meeting on January 22nd or 23rd. The meetings will be held in the computer
lab room #128, at 3:15 pm.
 Meeting signups are available on Mr. Nichols' advisory page or on Mrs. DaSilva's website. You can also ask your Foreign Language teacher for more information."

*Attention Seniors:

The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides a multi-faceted experience designed to not only address the financial needs of minority students who aspire to attend college but also to guide them through the process of higher education.  The application deadline is February 1st, which is rapidly approaching.  Visit Coach Nichols' website or see him if you have questions.

 

* The Central Magnet Tigers defeated the Community Vikings 68-58.

The Tigers were led by Will Carver with 16 points, Patrick Norman with 15 points, and Jayden Hernandez with 10 points. Steph Laird and Jack Smith each chipped in 9 points.

The JV Tigers also defeated the Vikings 50-38.

 

The Tigers will be in action on Friday when they travel to Giles County.

 

* Natalie Anderson scored 16 points to lead the Lady Tigers in a 51-29 loss to Community. Next up: at Giles County on Friday.

 

*The middle school girls’ basketball team defeated Whitworth-Buchannan last night in the final regular season game the score was 39-32

Addison Melton led the team with 17 and Noella Obi added 9 points.

The Lady Tigers will begin post season play Saturday in Lawrenceburg wish them good luck!
