*The TableTop Gaming Club will not be meeting today, but will be meeting next Wednesday, January 30th.

*Attention All Students:

As usual, we will have the option for students to use reading rooms during Friday's Homecoming festivities.  There is a sign up for pep rally, morning activities, and afternoon activities.  One is posted upstairs by Mr. Joyce's room for MS and the other on the auditorium doors for HS.  There are three middle school reading rooms and three high school reading rooms.  Please make note of which room you should report to when you signup.

The library will not be an option for Friday.  Students should not need to go anywhere while in the reading rooms (except the restroom).  This is not a punishment but an opportunity for students that do not deal with noises or crowds to have a quiet location.  Once a student is in the room they are to remain there until the next activity.  Attendance will be taken in each reading room.

*Central Magnet will be hosting a Fundraiser for the American Heart Association. During the student/teacher volleyball games on Friday...after we donate $100 as a school we will begin giving the teacher teams a challenge! For example, one teacher can no longer move their feet while playing and as you continue to donate money it will get more challenging for the teachers....so if you want the student team to beat the teachers bring money to donate to a great cause! All the money donated goes directly to the American Heart Association.

*1.  HOSA’s Community Awareness team is sponsoring a photo booth to raise money for The Juvenile Arthritis Foundation.  ALL proceeds will go to the foundation and will help fund research.  You can get 3 pictures for $1 and props will be available!

2.  HOSA’s 3rd Blood Drive will be on Wednesday, January 30 from 7:30 to 1 pm in the gym.  If you’re 16 years old, see Mrs. Gates for a permission form. Every donation saves 3 lives and the American Red Cross is reporting shortages at this time.

3. CMS HOSA has been named as a “Premier Blood Partner from our 2018 donations. We collected 274 units so that means we saved 822 lives in one year. Numbers like that are made possible with your help in donating at our drives!  This drives theme will be “Under the Sea”!

*Tickets for the Homecoming Dance are on sale again today during C and D lunch for $5.  They will be available at the door tomorrow night for $7. Seniors do not need a ticket.  The dance will begin at the conclusion of the basketball game and will go until 11 pm.   Only Central students are allowed to attend the Homecoming Dance.

If you are on Homecoming Court, remember there is a practice for the ceremony today during D lunch in the gym.

Variety Show participants, please bring your props and instruments to the auditorium tomorrow morning
between 7:30 and 7:45.
There will be reserved seats for you in the front right corner of the auditorium.  The show lineup is posted on the Student Council website.
