*Just a reminder that all Wellness classes will meet in the auditorium this week.

 

*The Central Magnet Men's Basketball team fell to the Nolensville Knights on Friday 55-41.

The Tigers were led by Will Carver with 13 points, Steph Laird with 9 points and Patrick Norman with 8 points.

The Tigers will be back in action tonight when they travel to Marshall County.

 

*Lady Tigers lost to Nolensville 53-29. Sydney Copeland had 12 points and Natalie Anderson had 11. Next up: at Marshall County on Tuesday.

 

*Congratulations to following archers for placing at the Rutherford County Winter Time Tournament this past weekend.  Emily Taylor placed 4th in the MS Female division to earn her first career podium and in the HS Male division, JT Hamilton placed 4th, for his first career podium, and Connor Smathers placed 1st.  The HS team finished in 2nd place and the MS team finished in 2nd place just eight points behind WBMS.  The archery teams will shoot in the Heartbreaker Tournament at John Colemon ES on Feb 2nd.

 

*The High School Swim Team had a great meet in Nashville on Friday at the Middle Tennessee Regional Championships.

Congratulations to Reece Long for placing first in the region in the 50 Freestyle and second place in the 100 Freestyle.

Congratulations to Kailey Orr who placed fourth in the region in the 100 Freestyle, Anna Weis for placing ninth in the 100 Fly, and the girls 400 Free Relay made up of Kailey Orr, Anna Weis, Morgan Ouellette, and Erin Chippeaux placing eighth.

Morgan Ouellette also made State in the 100 Breaststroke. Congratulations to her!

The Middle School Swim also had a great meet in Nashville on Saturday at the Middle Tennessee Middle School Regional Championships.

Congratulations to Ben Bryant for placing 8th in the region in the 200 Freestyle and 13th place in the 100 Freestyle.

Congratulations to Taylor Walker for placing 16th in the region out of over 100 swimmers in the 100 Backstroke.

Middle School has their last meet this weekend at the County Championship
and the qualifying High School swimmers will compete in Nashville for the High School State Championship next Friday and Saturday.

 

*All Middle School Boys soccer players will meet today in room 226 after school.
