*The Central Magnet Men's Basketball team fell to the Nolensville Knights on Friday 55-41.
The Tigers were led by Will Carver with 13 points, Steph Laird with 9 points and Patrick Norman with 8 points.
The Tigers will be back in action tonight when they travel to Marshall County.
*MTSU will be at CMS from 12:30-1:15 (C/D Lunch) on Tuesday, Feb. 5 in Room 133 for any Dual Enrollment student who would like to have an MTSU ID made. Please stop by during this time if you need an ID card.
*Congratulations to the 6th grade spelling be class level winners:
Presley Carpenter, Ryan Russell, Cooper Ferguson, Devontae Watson, Will Morgan, Kayin Barton, Henry Ambrose, Riley Mathis, Johnathan Robins, Rowan Young, Lily Ray, Collier Pawlowski, Lang McDaniel, and Emmie Haight. These students will compete for the grade level championship on Friday, February 8 during B lunch.
*The Central Magnet Men's basketball team picked up another district win last night as they defeated the Marshall County Tigers 60-50.
The Tigers were led in scoring by Will Carver with 14, Jayden Hernandez with 11 points, Steph Laird with 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Jack Smith chipped in 9 and Patrick Norman 8 points.
The Tigers will be in action this Friday as they travel to Unionville to take on district foe Community. Game time is 7:30 pm
*Lady Tigers outscored Marshall County in the 2nd half but lost a tough one on the road, 37-26. Anaiyah Smith and Kaitlin Polly each scored 9 points in the loss. Next up: at Community on Friday.
*Middle School Boys soccer team will meet today after school in room 226.
