Late Work Policy:

I do not take homework or AP Classroom after you begin your test. This must be completed and turned in before the test. Just like the other senior AP teachers, I will not reopen AP Classroom.

Graded homework assigned during a class period is due the next class to be considered on time. 15% will be taken off for assignments turned in late. This must be done within a week of the assignment due date.

I know extenuating circumstances randomly occur (Life Happens), please just speak to me and we can discuss what to do about getting me your assignment. This will constitute me reopening online homework and AP Classroom once during a semester, after the first time it will not be reopened again that semester.

AI Use Rules for the Classroom

AI is a Tool, Not a Substitute – You may use AI to support your learning (e.g., ask questions, get explanations, or check your understanding), but it should never complete your assignments, write your responses, or do your thinking for you.
Use AI for Guidance Only – AI can help brainstorm ideas, explain difficult topics, or offer suggestions. However, the final work must be your own words, thoughts, and effort.
Be Honest and Transparent – If you use AI to help with any part of an assignment, you must clearly state how it was used. Misusing AI without acknowledgment is considered academic dishonesty.
