AI Use Rules for the Classroom

  1. AI is a Tool, Not a Substitute – You may use AI to support your learning (e.g., ask questions, get explanations, or check your understanding), but it should never complete your assignments, write your responses, or do your thinking for you.

  2. Use AI for Guidance Only – AI can help brainstorm ideas, explain difficult topics, or offer suggestions. However, the final work must be your own words, thoughts, and effort.

  3. Be Honest and Transparent – If you use AI to help with any part of an assignment, you must clearly state how it was used. Misusing AI without acknowledgment is considered academic dishonesty.
