Neuroscience Club
The focus will be on applying biological principles to the study of behavior in humans and animals (Behavioral neuroscience – commonly referred to as biopsychology )– and the brain mechanisms that underpin behavior. The goal of the club is to inspire excitement about and increase knowledge of neuroscience.
This club is open to high school students enrolled in Neuroscience or AP Psychology that are interested in the Neuroscience field.

Visit Central's Neuroscience Lab where students are conducting individual research measuring brainwaves with the MUSE EEG. Data is then cleaned and analyzed using MATLAB.
Central students visit MTSU's Neuroscience Lab
Brain & Language Lab
MTSU's Brain & Language Laboratory includes a 128-channel electroencephalogram (EEG) recording system as well as a Geodesic Photogrammetry System (EGI) that allows accurate an accurate estimation of the brain electrical sources.
