Beta Service Opportunity: Greenhouse Ministries Mobile Food Pantry (2-point Event)

When? Saturday, September 25th from promptly 7:45 A.M. to noon

Where? 309 S. Spring St. (very close to our school)

What? Mobile food pantries are essentially like an outdoor grocery store. Greenhouse Ministries will receive a truck load of food and then they divide the food into separate tables and the clients will receive a full shopping cart of food.

What will we be doing? We as volunteers will help sort and bag food, push carts for clients, and take food to clients’ cars and load it (and fill in in other areas where we may be needed).

To participate in this activity, you need to sign up on the following Sign-Up Genius using this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B0F45ADAC2BA7F58-beta

The last day to sign up is Monday, September 20th. If all the slots fill up before then, additional slots can be added. The number is not limited to 15 spots, we just need to get a count of how many volunteers to expect so that it can be reported to Greenhouse Ministries.

Because this is a 4-hour commitment on a Saturday, you will receive two points for participating.
