TSA - Technology Student Association is a competition that uses engineering and technology concepts to allow students to showcase their skills and talents. Central Magnet competes in TSA events and all students have an opportunity to compete if they choose to do so. TSA events change each year so we will be discussing the competition more in depth as we get ready to start the new school year. The TSA competitions will be a part of the engineering curriculum at Central. We encourage students to participate in TSA activities throughout the year. This includes a regional competition and the state competition. This year's regional is held in Smyrna, TN and the state competition is held in Chattanooga, TN. The 2019-20 State competition will take place the week of Spring Break, April 1-4, 2020.
Membership dues for TSA are $25 per year.
Take a look at the competitions and times of each event below to get a better idea of what is involved.
Some of the competitions will ask you to look at the National TSA Website to get this year's theme.
