Our Project LIT titles for this quarter will be The Opposite of Always for high school and Look Both Ways for 8th grade. Come by the library to sign up to join us!
CMS HOSA Week is next week and we have approved dress up days! Monday - Medical Monday (scrubs/lab coat), Tuesday - crazy sock day (Sock it to Pediatric Cancer), Wednesday Wear RED for Blood Donor awareness & it's our Blood Drive Vampire themed, Thursday will be Halloween dress up (school dress code applies, no masks, weapons), Friday is HOSA Day wear Navy/Maroon or an old HOSA shirt!
German Club will have a movie afternoon THIS Friday, November 1st, in Mrs. Boost's room after school. It will begin at 3:30. Bring snacks and enjoy a movie in German. Please plan for your ride to be here by 5:15 to pick you up!
Reminder to Student Art League members to turn in your t-shirt order forms and money to Ms. Struk by 8:00 am on Wednesday next week.

The 2nd Annual Central Magnet Baseball Bowling Scramble will be Saturday, November 9. There will be a table set up this Friday, near the cafeteria, to sign up your team and place an order for an event t-shirt. The cost for each person to bowl for two hours is $25. Put a team of 6 together , bring your $25, and get signed up! Don’t forget there will be prizes for best team name and best team shirts.
Middle school and high school swimmers, come by Coach Wagner’s room today to pick up tshirts, swimsuits and warm ups. If you come during 5th period, do not come during A lunch.
The girls bowling team defeated Oakland last night winning their 6th in a row. LIEzel Laurel bowled her career high of a 187 and won all three of her points. Sofia Rahal Georgia Touchton and Bella Goodnight won two points each. The girls will now play Stewarts Creek next Thursday for a share of 1st place in the district. The boys dropped their match to Smyrna. Matthew Flesichman had a team high 214. Will Starling Cameron Yates and Kimball Pike picked up points for the boys.
