play Central magnet students and families welcome back we are so excited to have our tiger family back together once again weave pictures of a hard at work preparing for your return and they can't wait to meet their classes as you enter into the building though things will be a little different we have some new policies and procedures that are in place this year we thought we take gif explain some of those 2 and answer some of the questions that we've been receiving we'll talk a little bit about arrival and dismissal class change what the Halls will look like the lunchroom and the lockers do you have any other questions feel free to ask the teacher or stop by and see the ministrator students just a few things about a rival when you arrive to campus come on in any of the normal entrances whether it's Middle School. High School Dropout for the bus line we do ask that you maintain social distancing as you arrive on campus and throughout your day so please don't go get in someone's car and hang out until it's time to come in if you drive the school parking passes can be purchased in attendance so make your way there for that parking pass high school students when you get to school we need you to go to the gym I know that's different than we've done in years past but we definitely need all high school students to go to the gym middle school students are going to the auditorium and of course if you want breakfast feel free to go down to the cafeteria and eat breakfast the plan to stay there until dismissal time you will be dismissed by sections to go to class so don't jump up when you think that it's time to go to class you will find as you enter the gym tape and that showing you where to sit in the gym so sit on the tape in the gym in the auditorium and in the cafeteria your seats are marked with tape for the seats that you should not sit in so in the calf Materia you can sit on a blank seat you also noticed in the hallway some one way signs this is just reminding you that our house should be one way each side of the hallway please stay to your right so pick your right side and that's why you're going to go down the hallway this will include the stairwell so be careful when you're in the stairs and make sure that you are allowing everyone to maintain their social distancing we must keep the traffic moving but yet be safe something else that you will want to take note of in the hallway is the water fountain as you approach the water fountain you will see that you are not allowed to actually drink from the water fountain so please bring a water bottle that you can refill throughout the day we have the bottle fountains that are open only have them on the first floor and the second floor of the school building when you're going to your locker please respect and maintain social distancing wait your turn and someone is near your locker also please minimize the number of trips you take to your locker throughout the day one trip in the middle of the day should be enough to get you through your morning classes and your afternoon classes students your classroom I was a little different barriers have been added for Extra Protection each classroom has a spray bottle cleaner and your teachers will be spraying down your chairs as you leave it might be good practice for you to pick up a paper towel as you enter to the next classroom in case you have to wipe receipt down before you sit also you'll find a gallon of hand sanitizer in every classroom please feel free to use that as needed class change will be called over the speech please don't jump up at what you consider to be released time and when you are released go straight to your next classroom in the lunchroom please maintain social distancing inline when you get to the end of the line you will have a scan card which you will be given and that scan card you just simply scan it and that's how you will pay do you have any questions about the procedures in the cafeteria you can ask any of the cafeteria workers and they'll be glad to assist you when you do go to sit down inside the cafeteria please pay attention to the tape please don't sit in front of anyone else and please once again Do not sit on the tape sit on a blank seat in the Catholic we will also open at the senior cafeteria to everyone in each lunch remember seniors with social distancing the number of people allowed to sit in the senior cafeteria will be limited you can also sit outside at our picnic tables so take advantage of that limit you can as you enter the attendance office please pay attention to the four markers these markers are there to show you where to stand really we can only have one student waiting in attendance at a time so the line may have to form outside of the attendance office and you will CU social distancing please make sure that you listen to the directions at the ladies give you as they have changed up their procedure just a little bit they will do the signing in but you still get a pass to take to class when needed if you need to go to Guidance the best thing to do is to make an appointment ahead of time then when you enter the office right by the door you will find a sign in sheet and some clean pins and some used pins sign in and then step up to the Blue Line mrs. Todd will be glad assist you with whatever it is you need or with your appointment if you need to visit the school nurse nurse Anderson is located on the first floor as you approach her office stop right outside the door knock on the door and wait for her to answer if she doesn't answer after knocking you can step to the front office and ask them to call her down for you when you do go into the front office please be careful step in front of the partition to speak with Miss Spurlock students at the end of the day for dismissal you will be dismissed by alphabet bus riders you always go first and then a through G H2O p through Z and we will rotate the best thing students you can do to keep yourself safe this year is to wash your hands maintain social distancing and remember we are a mask zone so put that mask on we really hope this video help explain some of the policies and procedures and answer some of your questions if you have any more questions feel free to ask one of your teachers or stop by and see doctor Ash Dr Guthrie or myself our doors are always open available to help you it's going to be a great year and it's a great day to be a tiger
