French 1
The purpose of the first year of French is to get you familiar with sound and pronunciation patterns, introduce the foundation of the language through present tense verb conjugation and basic grammar, and get you comfortable speaking and writing about topics such as your family, school, eating out and hobbies. You will also get introductions to French history and culture.
