CLOSE LOSS ENDS SEASON

Central fell behind immediately to start the game but fought back to take a 1-point lead into halftime. Unfortunately, the Lady Tigers started the 2nd half the same way as Giles County scored 4 straight points to get the lead they would never relinquish, aided by a banked-in 3-pointer at the buzzer to end the 3rd quarter. With the loss, the Lady Tigers fall to 10-9 overall on the season, marking the 1st winning season since the 2014-15 team that advanced to the TSSAA Sectionals.
