good afternoon this video will walk you through how to do the remediation and analyze your results for each of the test insert so when you log on now that you will finish your pens you will see that instead of the start section button over here you have two buttons one says exam room and one that says study hall cooking on the exam room button will take you to a screen that shows you all of your results for that section of the test you will see your answer the correct answer the time it took you to answer that question the difficulty level of the question a place to review this is a link to a video as well as feedback so if I go to a question that I missed I see that this was a medium question I click on the button a video will begin to play over here that will walk me through how to answer this question once I watch the video I can offer feedback to myself yes I say said I would get this question right the next time or a similar question correct the next time or no I think that I still do not understand this topic and I think I would still miss this question what is feedback buttons do is if you scroll down you will see your actual score that's questions and you got right in the questions you got incorrectly a raw score and then a projected score with a range of how you would do on the ACT and then you have this feedback score it shows you how your score would adjust it shows you how your score would it just depending on how you feel you would do on these questions that you missed the next time you could also over here clip question review and instead of showing you the list it shows you one question at a time along with the reading passage and the actual question and answers and then you would click here to scroll through your different questions each subject has an exam room and they all look very similar back to the main screen there are some links above here they're outside the frame of my recording that say hi exam room study hall and quizzes homeroom will get you back to this screen every time if you click on the study hall what does study hall will do is it. show you every question it shows you topics so for instance circles are a topic that are covered on the math portion of the ACT I see that there were two questions total I miss both of them when I click on circles what it does is it brings up a video not about the questions but about circles in general and I information that I need to know in order to answer Circle questions on the ACT likewise if I scroll down it shows me exactly what numbers those questions were any information about them and I can click on them and it will show me that question the video for that exact question now not every question is associated with a little lesson unsteady Hall only the ones that qualify under these commonly assess topics show up in the study hall section now at the top of the screen again there are some links one of those links will take you to quizzes these are some various quizzes on the different topics that are important in the four different sections so for example usage mechanics and then rhetorical skills in English if I click on math I've numbers algebra functions geometry I can see that I have some online instructions and it will walk me through how to take the quiz some of your teachers may ask you to complete some of these quizzes as a part of their class I'm your also welcome to work on them individually as part of your own studying for the ACT now go back to homeroom I see that I have three different linxup here score for the Russian will show me the progression of my cert scores from the first time that we took the test in the fall of 2010 until now in the fall of 2011 so you can see your different cert scores and the trends in your scores overall Vigo back and look at course report it will show me my summary for all sections as well as where my actual score would be likely to fall in the range I can see a breakdown every question and whether I got it correct or incorrect also can see some detailed results so for an English 3 different topics and how many of each question I got correct and percent was an item difficulty analysis I can see for English there were 21 easy questions 18 of them correct 39 medium questions I got 31 Democrats and in hard 15 I have 12 of them correct so I can see how I'm doing it eats at low level this also shows me my benchmark scores they do the scores needed to obtain honors so you can see based on your score how close you are to the benchmarks also in English and science it offers you passage type analysis so far in English there are two types of passages here rhetorical skills and uses mechanics can see how you do on each of those and in science conflicting viewpoints data representation and research summary you can see how you did on each of those finally the Readiness standards I can see just like our class has a t a c t has specific standards new CD level 3 level 4 level 5 as they say on the ACT these specific standards how many of them and how high of a level you can get to determine your score on the test so you can see in this exact what standards that you need to work on you can see if you are maybe getting the three hundreds and but missing some of the 400 or you're getting the 300 400 that missing the 500 so you see exactly what areas you need to work on in order to help raise your score in each section of the test this is been a review of how you can use. for your remediation and to help Target specific areas and improve your ACT score
