Who is Mr. Rundberg?

Short Bio

Mr. Rundberg is a native of Nashville, TN and attended Montgomery Bell Academy for middle and high school. He was an Eagle Scout and Venturing Ranger, as well as a 5-year Varsity letterman. He speaks both English and German, and also reads French and Latin.

After moving around to Kentucky for undergraduate studies and then later to Memphis and Knoxville for graduate school, my wife and I have settled down here in Murfreesboro when I joined the Central Magnet community.

This is my third year at the Mag. In addition to the three Advanced Placement subjects (Macroeconomics, Microeconomics and European History) I teach here at Central, I also am a sponsor of the Central Magnet Chess Team, the Ultimate Frisbee Team, and a Sophomore Advisor this year.

When not teaching or grading papers, I enjoy watching Jeopardy with my wife and our cats (Toby and Julio). I am also a Tennessee Titans fan, reader, coffee-drinker, and gamer. Long-discussions of history are a particular penchant of mine.
