Who is Mr. Rundberg?

Short Bio

I'm originally from Nashville, TN and attended Montgomery Bell Academy for middle school and high school. I was an Eagle Scout and Venturing Ranger, as well as a 5-year Varsity letterman in high school. I speak both English and German, and also reads French and Latin.

I completed my undergraduate degree at Centre College in Danville, KY and moved to Memphis to complete his Master's in European History, where met his wife who was completing her Master's in American History.

I was earning a PHD in European History before pursuing a Masters of Science in Teaching and a teaching license.

Mr. Rundberg's Second Master's Graduation

This is my fourth year teaching at Central Magnet. I teach:

AP European History
AP Microeconomics
- focuses on market structures like monopoly, individual consumers, and firms
AP Macroeconomics - a graduation requirement
- focuses on national economics like inflation and unemployment and GDP

I also am a sponsor of the Central Magnet Chess Team, the Ultimate Frisbee Team, the Board Game Club and a Junior Advisor this year.

When not teaching or grading papers, I enjoy watching TV / Movies/ Streaming with my wife and our cats (Toby and Julio). I am also a Tennessee Titans fan, reader, coffee-drinker, and gamer. Long-discussions of history, ethics and the law, economics and current events, and movies are a particular penchant of mine.
